A Buchanan County man is being held without bond on charges related to child pornography filed in three southwest Virginia counties.
Tazewell County Commonwealth's Attorney Dennis Lee said Friday that 33-year-old Adam Stewart Young of Oakwood was arrested after Wal-Mart employees alerted authorities about images on film Young had brought in to be developed.
Buchanan County investigator Eric Breeding said authorities then obtained a search warrant for Young's home, and so far have filed 11 charges of possession of child pornography. He said investigators have not yet analyzed a computer and floppy disks that were seized.
State police filed five charges against Young in Russell County that include producing child pornography, taking indecent liberties with a minor and aggravated sexual battery.
