Now Tara Wheeler will find a new fact about herself when she types her name into Google: She's Miss Virginia 2008.

This year's Miss Arlington admitted to Googling herself last week before the competition. Now she will represent Virginia at next year's Miss America pageant.

Wheeler won a scholarship worth $16,000 along with the crown Saturday at the Roanoke Civic Center.

Also among the finalists were Caressa Cameron, Shannon Beam, Elizabeth Crot and Chinah Helmandollar.

Wheeler eventually hopes to work for a television news station and be an advocate for organizations that empower women.
