One of the two Metro employees arrested in a prostitution sting is scheduled to stand trial next month.
At a hearing in D.C. Superior Court on Tuesday, 45-year-old Pamela Goins of Capitol Heights told the judge she was not guilty of offering to have sex with an undercover police officer for money. Her trial is set for August 19.
Goins worked as a custodian for Metro for six years until she and 42-year-old Sharon Waters of Bowie, a Metro station manager who worked at Dupont Circle, were arrested in the sting last month. Metro has fired both women.
Last week, Waters agreed to a court-approved diversion program for prostitutes and prosecutors will drop the charges once she completes it.
Goins declined a similar offer and chose the trial instead.
