Virginia has gotten the top business ranking for the second year in a row by Forbes.com.
Governor Tim Kaine announced yesterday that Virginia got the top ranking in Forbes.com's "Best States for Business."
Forbes.com is the official Internet site of the Forbes family of business publications.
The review examines multiple measurements, including business cost, regulatory climate, workforce quality and economic growth.
Virginia finished in the top ten in four of the six main categories: first in regulatory environment, fifth in quality of its workforce, sixth in overall quality of life and eighth in prospects for growth.
Overall, Utah was ranked second, followed by North Carolina, Texas and Washington.
Kaine says the honor "underscores Virginia's commitment to creating and maintaining a positive economic climate."
