Hopewell police say the head of security at Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville is charged with sexual battery of a minor and taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Police say 39-year-old Robert Robertson, Jr. was arrested at work Wednesday evening.

Lieutenant Joseph Sumner with Hopewell police says the alleged incident involving Roberston occurred July 6 at the Hopewell Community Center. Sumner declined to give details about the minor.

Administrators at Saint Paul's say Robertson has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending a resolution to the case. Bill Herrington, the college's vice president for institutional advancement, say Robertson has been with Saint Paul's public safety force for more than a decade.
