A man accused of killing two women in Roanoke in 1989 has been brought back to stand trial after 18 years on the run.
Thomas Manuel Paige Junior was caught in Jamaica in May and the U.S. Marshals Service brought him back to Roanoke Thursday on a flight from Miami.
Paige is charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of 20-year-old Debra Salters and 18-year-old Sylvia Baker.
Paige also faces two counts of malicious wounding for wounding two other people in the shootings.
The Roanoke prosecutor said Paige would likely be arraigned in circuit court today or Monday.
