A Virginia Beach coin dealer traveled across the country to deliver the rarest of all dimes.
John Feigenbaum flew from California to New York to deliver an 1894-S dime. It is one of only nine known to exist. And the "Holy Grail of coins" is worth $1.9 million.
The 38-year-old picked up the dime Monday from the seller's vault in California and delivered it to the buyer's vault the following day in New York.
Feigenbaum says he put the dime in his briefcase and kept checking to make sure the dime was safe by reaching into his briefcase to feel for it.
He says he and the seller's agent will split a six percent commission on the deal.
Feigenbaum says Liberty isn't the prettiest on the coin, but sometimes the ugliness of the coin can be attractive.
