VA Fort Presenting Greek Plays to Help Military Families Cope

Ancient Greek stage plays are being presented at Fort Eustis to help soldiers and their families cope with the psychological aftermath of combat.

Three stagings of "Theater of War" are scheduled this week at the Newport News military base. Each are intended to help veterans and their spouses overcome the stigmas about psychological injuries through the torments of the ancient Greeks.

A panel discussion follows each staging.

The independent production of two plays from Sophocles is being presented at Fort Eustis and dozens of other U.S. military sites.
