CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Albemarle County police say the state medical examiner's office has ruled that the shooting of a 10-year-old Crozet girl was accidental.

Police have released few details about the shooting of Margaret "Maggie" Hollifield other than that she was shot Tuesday morning by a juvenile male. They have refused to reveal the relationship between the two or to disclose the age of the shooter.

Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville says services for Hollifield will be held on Friday.

Albemarle County Police spokeswoman Carter Johnson said the investigation is ongoing.
