RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A Richmond man convicted in a fatal hit-and-run death will spend three years in prison.

Media outlets report that a Richmond Circuit Court judge followed a jury's recommendation in sentencing 31-year-old Elias Webb on Tuesday.

The jury found Webb guilty of felony hit-and-run in February.

Prosecutors say an SUV driven by Webb hit 24-year-old Lanie Kruszewski as she was riding a bicycle on July 29, 2012.
