RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- State Police are beefing up traffic enforcement efforts on Virginia interstates this weekend.

The initiative known as Operation Air, Land and Speed will target Interstates 64, 66, 85, 81 and 95 on Saturday. Troopers plan to enforce speed limits and crack down on drunk and aggressive driving.

There were nearly 2,600 arrests and summonses during a similar campaign last month on three Virginia interstates.
