An Inconvenient Weather Day has been declared for Monday. A moist system moving up the coast will bump into some cold air producing the chance of some measurable snow for Monday morning. It is early to gauge at this time , but a few inches are certainly possible.
Expect another breezy day with gusts up to 30 mph Saturday afternoon. Plenty of sunshine in store to start the weekend with temperatures around 60. A cold front is approaching the region and will be the weather changer Saturday night.
As winds shift to the northeast Sunday expect cooler temperatures with highs only in the mid to upper 40s and mostly cloudy skies. We are closely monitoring a potent upper level system to the south that looks to bring moisture to the Valley late Sunday afternoon into Monday. Right now this looks to begin as rain on Sunday by late afternoon or evening, then change to a rain/snow mix Sunday night before all snow early Monday morning. This could impact the Monday morning commute. We're still a few days away, so keep checking in for updates.
Spring arrives next Thursday!
