Thousands of residents in the Valley remained without power late Friday night as a result of the ice storm.
As of 10 p.m. on Friday, Dominion Virginia Power reported that about 2,200 customers did not have electricity in the Valley with about 1,100 of them in Rockingham County, and 1,100 in Augusta County.
Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative reported 1,700 people without power in Augusta, Rockingham, and Shenandoah Counties.
Harrisonburg Electric Commission reported about 100 customers did not have electricity.
All three companies said they will have crews working overnight to fix the problems.
