The weather took its toll on the Valley Tuesday night with rain and high winds. Many residents saw some damage to their homes and property.

One family in Clover Hill lost the roof to their pool house, which they say was thrown into the side of their home.

The family says they saw a bright light and heard a loud wooshing noise before it all happened, which they say took place in about 20 seconds.

Brandy McCoy, resident, says, "(It) looks like it made a straight line this way, because all the debris and damage look like it's this way, but then all of our of our furniture is toward this way. So that's why we are kind of thinking it might have been something other than wind that happened, because it's in a different direction as to where the damage is."

The McCoys also say their furniture and swing set had been thrown around the yard.
