Many remain in the dark Thursday morning after storms swept through the area Wednesday night.
Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative has ten customers without electricity in Rockingham and Shenandoah counties. That also includes Hardy County, West Virginia.
As of 6 a.m., Dominion Power had 825 outages in Rockingham County, five in Staunton, 88 in Augusta County, and two in Harrisonburg.
Alleghany Power is also reporting progress made overnight. They had 700 without power, down from 4,600 Wednesday night.
"Because of the severity of the storms that went through though yesterday, we have a high incident rate. Meaning we still have about 99 individual cases of trouble. So we're down almost to single incidents that have to be restored," says Janice Lance, Alleghany Power.
