Storms rolled through parts of the area Tuesday, leaving more than 1,000 people without power.
In East Hardy County, West Virginia, 1,100 homes and businesses were without electricity until about 3 p.m.
Some schools even let kids out early due to the power outage.
Small outages were also reported in Grant and Rockingham counties.
