Team Heads to Texas for Ike

A team of employees of the Norfolk district Army Corps of Engineers is moving to Texas to help with preparations for Hurricane Ike.

The team recently deployed to Mississippi, and is now heading to Texas. It's composed of volunteer members of the district's ten-person commodities team, which helps the Federal Emergency Management Agency with buying, distributing and transporting food and water during emergencies.
