Officials at Shenandoah National Park say fall has arrived.

The park says the most visible changes are in the higher elevations and especially in the Skyland and Big Meadows areas.

About ten percent of the trees along the Skyline Drive are showing signs of fall foliage.

Officials say the colors of fall historically seem to be at their most brilliant stage around the second and third weeks of October.

I love watching the difference of all the leaves of the valley and the city of Harrisonburg and still the season of fall and watching winter come.
