West Virginia's largest winter resort has starting making snow.
Snowshoe kicked off its snowmaking efforts Monday and got a little help from Mother Nature.
The resort says the first natural flakes of the season began falling very early in the day, leaving edges of parking lots and many tress and bushes covered.
Weather forecasters are predicting some measurable totals of natural snow on the ground by Wednesday morning.
Regardless, the resort says it will continue using more than 400 snow guns and 40 miles of pipe on its 60 trails to make its own throughout the week.
