CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) It's time to put away the shorts and sandals and dig out the sweaters and jackets.

It's time to put away the shorts and sandals and dig out the sweaters and jackets.
The first frost of fall is expected to arrive early Thursday morning in 26 counties. The affected area stretches from the Ohio River to the Virginia border.
The National Weather Service says temperatures in some counties are expected to fall into the mid 30s overnight.
