All eyes remain on the weather this weekend after several Mid-Atlantic states picked up inches of snow from an early October snow storm.
The Valley's earliest recorded snowfall was on October 10, 1979, when many parts of the Valley and Highlands picked up more than a half foot of snow.
While we're not expecting a storm of that proportion to effect the Valley, a low pressure system hanging off the coast of Delaware could bring in precipitation Saturday night through Sunday morning.
Northerly winds will continue to filter relatively cold air to the Valley, bringing surface temperatures down into the low to mid-30s by the morning of October 18.
While snowfall accumulation is not expected in the Valley, snowflakes may still fly as you head out Sunday morning.
Snow accumulation is possible along Skyline Drive and the Allegheny Front as we move through Sunday morning.
