Neighbors Helping Clean Up After Storms

Many people are cleaning up debris from the recent severe weather.

Several trees were down across the Valley and some neighbors have even come together to help out one resident in Augusta county.

Gordon Barlow lives about a mile from the home, and when he drove past Monday morning, he knew that he would be able to step up and help out his neighbors that he didn't even know.

Barlow says, "I knew that that was going to be a big one to get taken away so I had a couple of farm guys that I was willing to let come, I stopped by and met the folks here and told them I'd bring a couple guys to help them out."

The homeowners were so thankful for the help.

They say lightning striking in the front yard was a bit too close for comfort, but they also say, with the tree down, they have a better view.
