All of the wet weather over the past week is impacting landscapers and lawn care professionals in the Valley.
The heavy downpours mean landscapers are working longer hours and weekends, because the rain is causing the grass to grow faster.
David Ramsey, owner of Turfco Lawn Care and Landscaping, says he also has had to put extra people on his lawn mowing shifts because the wet grass takes longer to mow.
As a result of all the wet weather, he's taken a small financial hit as well.
"When we mow, it's almost like a hayfield. And it takes longer to mow so you lose money because most all your jobs are priced in before you mow," explains Ramsey.
Despite the inconveniences of the rain, Ramsey says he would still much prefer the wet and green conditions over dry and brown ones.
