Wild spring weather across California is causing problems for winemakers.
Some parts of the nation's premier wine-growing state have been coated with snow. Others have had severe cold snaps. Some have seen heavy rain.
Now vintners are hoping for a warm fall because some grapes may not mature until late October or November.
People such as Jim Fiolek, who heads the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Association, says the weather is causing plenty of headaches, but that's just part of the business.
Others say the weather could reduce the amount of wine produced in California but that the quality should remain good.
