An early winter storm is taking aim on parts of Virginia.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch with accumulations of 5 inches or more possible in higher elevations.
The watch stretches from southwest Virginia to northern counties.
The weather service says a coastal storm is expected to develop
Friday night and move into New England on Saturday.
