***There is a Fire Weather Watch for the entire viewing area for Friday from noon to 6 p.m. due to the continuing dry conditions. Low humidity combined with strong and gusty winds will lead to another day of enhanced wild fire threat. ***
Clear and chilly tonight, but thankfully winds will be light and begin a slight shift from the southwest. Lows near 20°.
Highs Friday and Saturday will be near 60 degrees, and both days will be windy. Look for sunshine for the first half of Friday before clouds move in Friday afternoon and evening. Saturday looks mostly sunny, and a few degrees warmer.
As winds shift to the northeast Sunday, look for cooler temperatures with highs only in the mid to upper 40s, and mainly clouds for the day. We are closing monitoring a potent upper level system to the south that looks to bring in plenty of moisture late Sunday afternoon and into Monday. Right now this looks to be a rain snow mix, but could turn into some wet snow showers early Monday morning impacting the morning commute.
There could be some lingering snow showers through the day on Monday, and Monday looks cold with highs only in the mid 30s. It is too early to talk accumulations but this time of the year, it is difficult to get substantial accumulations with daytime snowfalls.
Temperatures look to warm back into the 50s and near 60 by the middle of next week.
