Highs will be very warm, in the mid to upper 80s this weekend with steadily increasing humidity. Partly sunny Saturday. Most areas stay dry but an isolated shower cannot be ruled out, especially in the higher terrain. Mostly cloudy Sunday with scattered showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. Storms could be strong to severe with strong winds, hail, and heavy rain possible. A yellow alert day has been issued for Sunday, which means to stay tuned to the weather, and be alert because of the possibility of strong to severe storms.

Behind the system crossing over the weekend, expect a cool and comfortable string of days by the early to middle part of next week. Highs look to be in the 70s for a few days next week. Another July cool down.
