West Virginia businesses can now pay some of their state taxes online from a new secure Web site.
The "My Taxes" site debuted Thursday, and allows taxpayers to file their sales, use and withholding taxes.
The new site replaces part of the state Tax Department's Web pages, and offers theses businesses around-the-clock access to their tax information.
Governor Joe Manchin and state Tax Commissioner Chris Morris said the Internet presence is part of West Virginia's $22 million upgrade of its tax collection system.
Morris also said the site reflects how online business activity has flourished in the private sector.
