A U.S. Postal Service supervisor accused in a sweeping federal indictment targeting the Pagan's Motorcycle Club has pleaded guilty.

William Daniel Copen admitted to a single cocaine distribution charge Thursday in federal court in Charleston. In exchange, prosecutors waived five other charges including conspiracy and weapons violations.

Copen faces up to 20 years in prison at his sentencing in June.

Prosecutors say the 49-year-old Charleston resident also has agreed to cooperate. The government has recruited numerous witnesses from the 55 Pagan's members and associates charged in the case.

The remaining defendants, including former national president David "Bart" Barbeito of Myersville, Maryland, are awaiting trial in May.
