MILTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Blenko Glass' limited-edition vase commemorating West Virginia's 150th anniversary doesn't go on sale until Saturday.
But Blenko fans already are lining up to buy the 11-inch tall vases.
The Herald-Dispatch reports that early-arriving fans have set up tents outside the glassmaker's headquarters and visitor center in Milton.
Blenko made 150 of the light blue vases. The vases have hearts stamped on two sides. One represents the past and the other the future.
The West Virginia University Foundation said Thursday that Blenko donated one vase to WVU's art collection. Blenko has given its annual West Virginia birthday piece to WVU since 1980.
Blenko has been making hand-blown glass products since 1893.
