Union workers at Armstrong WorldIndustries' plant in Beverly have a new contract.
The Inter-Mountain reports that members of Teamsters Local 175voted 321 to 49 Friday to ratify the contract.
Local 175 President Ken Hall says current employees will see only minor changes to their health benefits. New hires will blunder a lesser health care plan.
The contract also includes a $500 bonus for each of the next two years. In the third year, employees will receive a 25 cent per hour pay increase.
Armstrong spokeswoman Jennifer Johnson says the contract protects workers and positions the plant to be competitive when the economy rebounds.
