Washington Football Team heading to playoffs, wins NFC East

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The Washington Football team has won the NFC East division title and is heading the playoffs with a 20-14 win Sunday night over the Eagles.
Alex Smith threw two touchdowns in the win over Philadelphia. Washington was 5-1 with Smith as their starting quarterback,
Washington finished the regular season at 7-9.
Washington will be the four-seed, and will host Tampa Bay in the wild card round Saturday, Jan. 9 at 8:15 p.m.
