HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The No. 14 West Virginia men’s basketball team rallied to defeat Oklahoma State, 87-84, Monday night in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The Mountaineers trailed by as many as 19 points in the second half but stormed back to claim a crucial road victory in conference play. WVU improves to 9-3 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play.

Miles McBride led the comeback effort with 19 of his 21 points in the second half. Derek Culver scored 22 points and grabbed 19 rebounds for the Mountaineers.

West Virginia is scheduled to host Texas on Saturday, January 9 at 1 p.m.
