Schedule updates for JMU men’s & women’s basketball programs

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - More schedule changes for the JMU men’s and women’s basketball programs were announced Tuesday.

The women’s basketball game at Towson, scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, was postponed due to a positive COVID-19 case within the Tigers’ program. A makeup date/time has not yet been announced.

The men’s program will now host Elon for a pair of games this weekend. The Dukes and Phoenix will square off at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. It will mark the first CAA games of the season for JMU after contests against Towson and UNCW were postponed due to COVID-19 issues with the Tigers and Seahawks.

With the newly scheduled men’s basketball games this weekend, the previously scheduled women’s basketball contests between JMU and UNCW at AUBC will tip-off at 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
