BRIDGEWATER, Va. (WHSV) — Aerospace company Dynamic Aviation has confirmed to WHSV a number of staff members have been laid off.

In a statement from Michael Stoltzfus, President and CEO of Dynamic Aviation, he says, “It is our policy not to discuss the specifics of personnel and staffing decisions. But I can share that the positions that are being eliminated are a combination of open positions that have not been filled, part-time positions, non-core full-time positions.”

Stolzfus says these layoffs are unrelated to the $47.9 million expansion to establish a new 13,000-square-foot facility, which is projected to create 207 new jobs.

The total number of layoffs is unknown at this time.
