Dukes overcome slow start to defeat William & Mary
HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The James Madison women’s lacrosse team earned a road victory at William & Mary Wednesday afternoon.
The Dukes overcame a slow start, trailing 3-2 with 21:42 to go in the first half, to dominate the Tribe in a 14-4 victory. Katelyn Morgan led JMU with three goals while Charlotte Haggerty, Rachel Matey, and Taylor Marchetti earned scored a pair of goals.
JMU improves to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in CAA play. The Dukes are scheduled to host Towson Sunday (April 18) at 2 p.m.
