HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - Odicci Alexander’s record-setting performance led the James Madison softball team to a victory over Delaware in the CAA Tournament Wednesday evening.

Kate Gordon blasted two home runs for the Dukes. She led off the bottom of the first with a solo shot to right field before launching a solo home run to left in the bottom of the fifth inning. Sara Jubas went yard following Gordon’s second longball to give JMU back-to-back home runs before Lynsey Meeks delivered a two-RBI single as part of a four-run fifth inning to extend the Dukes’ lead to 5-0.

James Madison improves to 32-1 overall and extends its winning streak to 22 games. JMU will play No. 2 seed Drexel Thursday at 11 a.m. in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament at Veterans Memorial Park.
