UVA walks-off No. 11 ODU, advances to NCAA Super Regional

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The University of Virginia baseball team defeated No. 11 Old Dominion, 4-3, Monday in 10 innings to win the Columbia Regional.
Devin Ortiz blasted a walk-off, solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to send the Cavaliers on to the the next round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
With the victory, the Cavaliers advance to a NCAA Super Regional against Dallas Baptist. It will be played in Columbia, South Carolina and is scheduled to start Saturday (June 12). The Super Regional is a best-of-three series with the winner advancing to the Men’s College World Series.
