Bridgewater restaurant prepares for St. Patrick’s Day Madness
BRIDGEWATER, Va. (WHSV) - In Bridgewater Thursday, The Cracked Pillar is feeling lucky as they are expecting a big turnout throughout the evening as they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on top of the beginning of March Madness.
While The Cracked Pillar is still experiencing staff shortages, they say they are prepared for Thursday evening’s festivities. This will be the first full St. Patrick’s Day celebration since the pandemic’s beginning.
“I do know that St. Patrick’s Day has traditionally since we’ve been open been our busiest day of the year,” said Patti Landis, owner of The Cracked Pillar. “I believe we are the only pub in the area, if not one of the only pubs in the area, and that would lend us to be extremely busy.”
Landis adds that there will be live music from the band Thieves of Burden as well as a special menu that features traditional Irish food.
