He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he earned his degree in journalism with a minor in sociology. He also has a master’s degree in Radio/Television from Texas Southern University in Houston.

During his time in Orlando, Brandon worked as a reporter and web producer at News 96.5 WDBO. At WDBO, he has covered numerous events including the Casey Anthony trial and President Barack Obama’s visit to Central Florida.

After leaving WDBO, Brandon spent a year working in the NBA with the Orlando Magic on the broadcast side. There, he hosted postgame shows, created halftime packages and served in other capacities for Orlando Magic’s radio broadcast.

His work from Florida led him to Houston where he joined the digital staff at ABC-owned station, KTRK-TV. At ABC13, Brandon’s daily tasks included content creation, posting on social media and finding viral/trending stories across the world.

Brandon is excited and grateful to be able to return to his true passion: telling stories that matter to the community.
