Anahita Jafary joined the NBC29 team on Monday, June 27. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in communication and minor in poverty, inequality, and social justice. Prior to that she has also received three associates degrees.
Anahita interned for Revista Metal magazine in Barcelona Spain. In college, she participated in student government, speech and debate, and was on the panhellenic judicial board. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and conversational in Spanish.
On her off-time, she loves trying new restaurants, cooking, and traveling.
