Kassidy Brown joined the WVVA team in February 2023 as the Digital Content Manager
Kassidy is originally an East Tennessee native, but she moved to Bluefield to attend college. She graduated with a bachelor's in communications from Bluefield University in 2022. In her time at BU, she was editor of the school's magazine, she worked for the school's Public Relations office, and she participated as a communications intern for a nonprofit organization based in Knoxville called ASAP of Anderson.
After graduation, she took a job at the local newspaper as the Lifestyles Editor and as editor of the West Virginia South Magazine.
