WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) — Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Saturday afternoon along Route 250.
38-year-old John Henry Sprouse, of Charlottesville, died at the scene.
The motorcycle Sprouse was on and a car collided at the 2200 block of West Main Street shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The driver of the car, a 57-year-old woman, was taken to Augusta Health with injuries.
As of Sunday afternoon, police said the crash remained under investigation and no cause was given.
