SHENANDOAH, Va. (WHSV) -- A five-year-old child was flown to the hospital on Monday night after being rolled over by a car, according to state police.
A Virginia State Police spokesman said the child was in the passenger seat of a parked car in a driveway along Sheila Lane. A seven-year-old child was sitting in the driver's seat, according to police.
Somehow, the vehicle began rolling down the driveway and the two children jumped out of it. In the process, the five-year-old was run over by it, according to the state police spokesman.
The five-year-old was flown to UVA Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
