Augusta Health to host Babypalooza on Saturday
Having to run errands with kids can be a pretty difficult task, so one hospital in the valley is doing their part to help families get everything they need in just one stop.
Augusta Health is hosting their third Babypalooza expo on Saturday. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and the event will run until noon.
The maternity and baby expo offers a place where new and expecting mothers can come and ask health care professionals questions, ranging from advice on pediatric dentists to pregnancy and birthing options.
Baby and child clothing vendors will also be there. Admission to the event is completely free.
"Everyone that attends gets a free Babypalooza swag bag and it has some goodies in it and we [will] have 26 vendors here," sad Kristen Printy, Augusta Health Marketing Services Coordinator.
Printy said doctors, birthing specialists, dentists and more will be there, offering hands on advice and help for new and expecting mothers. The goal of the maternity and baby expo is to provide families with an opportunity to ask health professionals any questions they need answered cost free.
"We will have pediatric practice offices here, we'll have representatives from our birthing suites, [and] a lactation specialist," said Printy.
This year, Babypalooza will be held at Bridge Christian Church in Fishersville.
