RAW VIDEO: Car burns up on Route 11

A car's emergency flashers carried right on blinking as 4-foot flames rolled from the engine and driver's side front tire areas. An early attempt to put the flames out with fire-extinguisher foam was not immediately successful.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection on of Corporate Drive and S. Main Street (Rt. 11) just across from the post office on Thursday afternoon. The gray car appeared to have temporary dealer plates.

P. Marshall was there and shared to WHSV some raw video of the car fire. The cause has not yet been revealed and the incident is under investigation.
