STAUNTON, Va. (WVIR) — Crews are cleaning up a crash in Staunton that took out a brick sign Monday morning.

Investigators believe the driver lost control and veered off North Frontier Drive, crashing through a sign at the VFW.
The two people that were in the car were taken to Augusta Health with non-life-threatening injuries. Charges are pending against the driver.
Police estimated damage to the sign at around $2,000.
