HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- The new Plecker Center for Community Philanthropy opened on Wednesday.
The celebration involved 6 non-profits, who will have office space in the building allowing them to better serve the Harrisonburg community.
"The Community Foundation is all about working with individuals, families, corporations, other groups of people," said Revlan Hill, with the Community Foundation. "Who want to be charitable, who have a dream of giving back making a difference in our community."
The space was formerly the Eastham House and now allows for non-profits to help the community.
The center is located on South Main Street in Harrisonburg. It is always accepting donations.
