HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Fans of all ages spent Friday cheering on the lady dukes from O'Neill's in Harrisonburg. The official watch party started just before tip-off.

Several TVs played the big game and dozens of people took advantage of that, cheering on JMU until the very end. Mike Houston, the new head football coach for JMU, was there showing his support for the women's team.

Fans said no matter the outcome, the team should be proud. "This team and that program is just phenomenal and being able to watch them these past four years has been so awesome," said senior Cat Maniataka. "I can't wait to see how the program does moving forward."
