WAYNESBORO,Va. (WHSV) -- On Saturday, Jennifer Lewis announced her campaign kick off to run for the 20th District Delegate.

The 20th District includes parts or Augusta and Nelson counties as well as Staunton and Waynesboro.

Lewis, who ran against Ben Cline in Virginia's 6th District, said she's learned a lot from her previous campaign and will continue to focus on issues such as the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline.

"I really think my Anti-Coast Pipeline message will carry very well in the 20th district," Lewis said. "The 20th district is very heavily impacted by the proposed atlantic coast pipeline and that's why I'm so passionate my number one issue is stopping the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. "

Lewis will still need 125 signatures to appear on the ballot in November.

Former Staunton Mayor, John Avoli and Dave Bourne are running for the Republican nomination.

Delegate Dickie Bell announced he will not be running again this year.
